Define the Empty Path
- In the Setup Schedule > Material Flow > Haulage tab, import the haulage a geometry and create a haulage route.
- Select the Haulage routes tab.
- Select the Empty path tab.
- In the Segments data grid, click Insert.
- In the Segment name column, use the list to select the first segment you want to use for the empty path of the haulage route.
- Click Insert.
- In the Segment name column, select the next segment that you want to use in the empty path of the haulage route.
- Continue selecting segments to create the empty path of the haulage route.
- In the Velocities data grid, click the Velocity column for the first segment.
- Type the value for the velocity at the start of the empty path.
- If you want to define a change in the velocity in any segment of the empty path:
- At the top of the Velocities data grid, click Insert.
- In the Segment name column, select the segment in which you want to change the velocity.
- In the Distance column, type the value for how far along the segment you want the velocity to change.
- In the Velocity column, type the value for the velocity.
A row is added to the data grid.
- Repeat the previous step to define all changes in velocity for the empty path of the haulage route.
Tip: If you want to return using the same path as the full path, you can click Reverse Full Path to fill the Segments data grid of the Empty path with the same segments as are used in the full path but in the opposite order.
Note: The first segment selected for the empty path in the Segments data grid is automatically added to the Velocities data grid.
